I can't seem to find this tamper switch, and I checked the manual too. Some Lenovo ThinkPad notebook systems contain a mechanical tamper detection switch - Lenovo Support US thank you sir for your help, yes this case is very strange sir still the tamper error, I have checked the bios security position is disabled, thank you

Posted by u/ShadowStriker15 - 2 votes and 6 comments hello guys, just recently bought a lenovo Thinkpad T470 from online shopping page in mexico like ebay called MercadoLibre.com.mx., when i tried to turn on the laptop i got a message "bottom cover tamper detected", is this fixable, what it means, should i return the product to the seller i dont want any defective laptop.
